Gloria & Louis – Sneak PeeK!
Well, looks like it’s wedding season again in the Capital Region! On Saturday, April 12th, I was privileged to begin the official spring 2012 wedding season at the spectacular event of Gloria & Louis, in Saratoga Springs, New York. The day began early, with Gloria and her entourage fully engaged in hair and makeup activities, when I arrived at 10:30am. Alayne Curtis and several of her Make-Me-Fabulous stylists were busier than ever, but managed to keep everyone on schedule, and looking wonderful. At the church, I found Louis and his Best Man Bill, relaxed and upbeat, but definitely ready to get the ceremony underway. The classic black & white Rolls Royce arrived right on time. Within a few moments, the ceremony was underway, and shortly thereafter, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Either were introduced for the very first time! At the Hall of Springs, Photographer Matt Ramos & company took advantage of a nice gap in the schedule to capture most of the formals photos. Meanwhile, Renaissance Floral Design was inside the hall, putting the finishing touches on the incredibly elegant room. Later that evening, DJ “Fernando” of Piano Man Productions, kept the party hot from start to finish, with a perfect mix of party grooves.

Jessica & Brian – Sneak PeeK!
Good times were enjoyed by all 270 guest in attendance at Jessica and Brian’s late – winter wedding event. On Saturday, March 3, 2012 this fun couple joined their hands, and hearts in marriage at St. John the evangelist Church in downtown Schenectady. Jessica was calm and collected as she finished up with hair and makeup during pre-ceremony activities at the Glen Sanders Mansion. Brian and his rowdy crew of groomsmen arrived at the church early, to make sure everything ran smoothly, and on time. A very personal and touching ceremony united the couple as husband and wife. Then it was time to get the party started. Uncharacteristically, the dance floor was male dominated, with many of the fellas busting out some pretty nice dance moves. As always, the ladies did their thing too! By the end of the evening, everyone had partied themselves to a zombie like state, but thanks to the very talented “Accents” band, they just couldn’t drag themselves off the dance floor. Oh, what a night it was! Catering: Mazzone Hospitality Photography: 124 River Street Entertainment: The Accents Floral Design: Experience
Danaea & Mike – Sneak PeeK!
2012 shaping up to be another outstanding year for big, beautiful, wedding events. My season began on January 14, 2012. I was invited to spend the day with Danaea and Mike, a cool metropolitan couple from Boston, MA. They invited approximately 200 of their family members and close friends, to attent their elegant mid-winter event at the Hall of Springs. Although it was a completely sunny day, it was still mid-January. In fact, their wedding weekend brought in one of the only real cold streaks we’ve had this winter. Danaea and Mike are avid skiers, and were not put off at all by this frigid inconvenience. They spent lots of time outdoors, allowing photographer JP Elario and me to capture some incredibly romantic images. From the pre-ceremony, to the end of the reception, the entire day was picture-perfect. Danaea and Mike brought in a top notch crew of professionals to cover all of their most important concerns, while they just relaxed and enjoyed the moment! Jennifer & Ryan – Sneak Peek!
All will agree that the winter of 2011-12 will go down in the books as, “the winter that never came”. Based on my informal survey, most people are very pleased with this fact. Then again, there was Jennifer and Ryan. As of Saturday morning, they were “pleased” that we are having such great weather, but deep down inside they were both praying for a beautiful white winter wedding. However, as the bride stepped from her limo at 2:30pm, it was 40 degrees and cloudy. The ground was bone dry. Not one snowflake, or flurry was in sight. Then…once again, just as I’ve witnessed so many times before, a wedding day “mini miracle” occurred. As a stood at the top of the aisle waiting for the processional to begin, I heard the best man say to the groom, “look man…it’s snowing”. They could not have been more thrilled by its arrival! By the time we arrived in Saratoga for the reception later that afternoon, the snowfall seemed almost magical in the air. Instead of falling to the ground, at times it seems as though it was just hanging in the air. This time, all present agreed that something wonderfully strange was occurring, right before our very eyes! Take a look at their wedding day sneak peek. Perhaps you will agree.
