I hereby declare the 2011 wedding season officially open. Well, in spite of several inches of snow still covering the ground, and snowbanks as high as small mountains just about everywhere, Saturday (3/12/11) was my first wedding event of the year! I was excited to get back in the groove after my winter hibernation. Although initially concerned about being a bit rusty this early in the season, after a few minutes in the salon with Meaghan and her girls, I felt the creative energy starting to flow nicely through my fingertips. By the time I hooked up with Team Elario for the “first look”, I was confident that it was going to be a outstanding day overall. Meaghan and Rob were the perfect couple to start the year with. They were laid back, happy, excited and in the moment. They seemed to relish every moment they were together on their wedding day. I could tell they understood just how precious every second actually was. In spite of the chaos that was down Albany after the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, their ceremony was a peaceful oasis inside historic St. Mary’s Church. The reception at Franklin Plaza featured several heartfelt toast, great food and outstanding entertainment, provide by none other the The New York Players band. Here’s a sneak Peek inside the marriage celebration of Meaghan and Robert.
